Creative Combo

Combination classes are a great way to introduce Ballet & Tap to young children. We follow a syllabus to ready them for moving into traditional style classes.

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of dance, and is an important part of a dancer's training. It teaches grace, proper alignment, musicality, flexibility, body-awareness, as well as a multitude of other skills that will enhance a dancer's abilities.

Pointe

This class has the same structure as the Ballet Class, specifically concentrating on pointe work. Emphasis on barre work preparing for the center floor. Students enrolled in this class are required to take Ballet Technique

Lyrical

Lyrical dance is similarly oriented toward the dancer's emotional responses rather than to an underlying formal choreographic structure. While a choreographic structure often exists, it serves more as a general guide than as a prescription for specific dance moves that, once mastered, will be highly similar from one performance to the next.

Jazz

A contemporary, lyrical modern jazz style class with center warmup and technique exercises, additional floor stretch and conditioning. Diagonal work for turns, jumps and jazz style linking steps.
A dance combination is taught at the end of class geared towards the level of each class.

Contemporary

With an eclectic yet accessible mix of Release, Modern, Ballet and Jazz, Contemporary is a class that includes a rigorous warm up followed by a multileveled combination. Instructed to music that varies from reggaeton to classical, "Contemporary" may inspire you to find your own style of motion and enable what dance is designed to support...your expression.

Tap

Tap dancing is a blend of syncopated rhythm which emphasizes footwork and the expression of rhythm through sound. All classes work on basic tap skills, progressing through tap steps, combinations and eventually dance

Stretch

This Class helps improve flexibility (increases your range of motion)

It will also assist in correct posture by lengthening tight muscles that pull areas of the body away from their intended position.

Potential to decrease injury by preparing muscles for work before activity and

increases blood and nutrient supply to muscles, thereby possibly reducing muscle soreness

Wildcard/Improv

In this improv class, you can expect to play, move freely, and compose dance in the moment. Improvisational instructions are given to help dancers develop their unique voices. Movers will dance as soloists, with partners, and in group forms.

Our Wild Card class consists of different styles of dance.  The dancers will not know in advanced what class they will be getting. This class helps prepare the dancer to be ready for anything!
